About Me

The first time I performed Shakespeare for an audience was in the third grade.  I, as Puck, wore a feathery hat/wig and bobbed forward eagerly as I shouted “Give me your hands if we be friends!”  I loved the image of people giving their hands; it projected in my head a much richer, more exciting image than “clap.”  But it was more than just language: theater has the capacity to express truths and ideas that cannot hit us effectively through any other medium.  I had to be a part of that.

I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia.  The child of two professional ballet dancers, their stories of performance and struggle sparked in me a sense of adventure.  I went off to St. Louis for college, studying for four years at Webster University’s Theater Conservatory.  From there my motto of walking through the doors that are open has taken me all over the United States and the world-I’ve lived everywhere from Los Angeles to D.C. and even Azerbaijan.  I have also discovered a great love for playwrights and a passion for new play development.  Wherever I may be, in front of a camera, onstage or in the basement of a bar doing a reading, I hope to meet you there.

Wanna See Me? If you are in the Navy, that's me in the current Sexual Assult Prevention and Response training video. Currently in production: Stone, a feature length independent film by Four Horsemen Pictures.  Coming up: What does the DIA do?  Find out in the upcoming commercial!
